Another language
It's quite simple to add another language. Therefore you create a file with the extension .lan - for example italia.lan. From the next start on you can select this new language.
Hint: The easiest way to do so is to copy an existing .lan and translate it line after line.
Changing of the standard language
In the last line of every .lan file you can find a yes or a no. The language that has a yes is the standard language. If there is no yes, then the internal language (english) is used.
Quality of Play-back
DemoScout Videos are created to be viewed best with Flash Player 4. Unfortunately newer versions sometimes cause problems when displaying the files. This happens if only small parts change from one picture to another, for example when typing text character by character.
To enhance the quality with Flash Player 6 also you can try this:
- Delete the 2 actions of the pictures in the FLA. These set the quality on low, which leads to optimal display with Flash 4.
- Publish the video with optimal quality (in HTML source: best) and 1 pixel bigger than it really is. or example, if the video has the sizes 481x318, then use 482x319 as width and height.
